As a future educator, I see curiosity as a basis for all future learning opportunities. This collage, pictured below, was created to capture this important skill and trait as they engage in moments of discovery, curiosity and adventure while trying to understand the amazing world around them.
This submission is reminiscent of my growing identity as a future teacher, as I believe it demonstrates my growth and understanding of Professional Competency 8, fostering and supporting a student's love of learning. By recognizing that curiosity leads to an array of opportunities, I can better equip myself, the classroom, and the materials to best suit an engaging and curiosity-inspiring environment, letting students fulfill their questions and sense of adventure, all while promoting their global childhood developmental skills.
